We sat down with Michelle, the founder of Caim & Able, to chat a bit more about how her personal health and wellness journey led to launching her brand. After suffering from chronic pain, Michelle took her health into her own hands, and transformed her lifestyle by focusing on removing all inflammatory foods and developing a specific magnesium protocol. Keep on reading to learn more about Michelle’s wonderful story, and the ethos behind Caim & Able.

Tell us a bit about yourself and how you started Caim & Able?

In 2016, I was working as the Business Development Manager for an Australian Disability Enterprise. They had a long history of packaging work for large corporations, the large corporations began shifting this work offshore to cheaper countries and many of our our wonderful employees lost their jobs. I decided to create a range of products that they could pack, to ensure ongoing work.

We love that you have always been a strong advocate for health and wellness. What does this mean to you and why is it important to your brand?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with health and wellness. After I studied Botanical Medicine in Australia, I travelled to Florida to further study the healing potential of a "raw food lifestyle". The more I studied, the more I realised that the body wants to heal, just give it the nutrients it needs and leave it to do the rest.

Why was creating sustainable, eco-friendly products important to you?

DO NO HARM, is the Hippocratic Oath and is an ethos I take seriously. Do no harm to the person, the planet, the animals.

What has been Caim & Able’s biggest success so far?

It depends on how one gauges success. I’m thrilled to have had my brand so enthusiastically embraced internationally. Yet from a personal perspective, it has been the ability to support some of the women and children escaping domestic violence in Australia
