Tell us a bit about yourself and how you started Angel Juicers?
We're a small, eco-conscious family business. Beginning way back in 1996 as a small bricks and mortar store in the Yarra Ranges, Victoria started by our mother, our focus has always been to offer superior products to support a healthy lifestyle.
We first began selling the Angel Juicer in our retail store in 2009 and it immediately became our favourite juicer. When we were offered the chance to become a distributor of the brand here in Australia in 2017, we took up on the opportunity without hesitation.
Can you tell us a bit more about the benefits of using a stainless steel juicer and what your personal favourite juicing combination is?
The major benefit of using a stainless steel juicer is the quality and durability. With no plastic parts that are prone to breakage, the Angel Juicer truly stands the test of time and continues to perform year after year.
The Angel Juicer is actually the world's first 100% stainless steel juicer, and its unique twin gear design means it has yields of up to 50% more than other juicers.
And our favourite juice? Hands down, it's CABALA, a potent and healing recipe by Don Tolman, containing carrots, apples, lemon and beet (CABALA stands for: carrot, apple, beetroot, apple, lemon, apple). As a sweet treat, we also like a combination of apple, kiwi, lemon, lime, orange and pineapple.
Why was creating a sustainable product important to you?
With the relatively recent shift towards being ever more eco-friendly, it's become more important than ever to have a zero waste kitchen, which means equipping yourself with quality kitchen appliances.
Having both seen and experienced the waste generated by products designed to break and therefore be replaced after the first year, the Angel Juicer is as eco-friendly and sustainable as an appliance can be.
By making your own juice at home with a reliable juicer, one can also reduce the inevitable packaging waste that accompanies store-bought bottles by using only fresh grown produce.
What do you believe has been Angel Juicers’ biggest success so far?
We often receive glowing feedback from our customers about how much they love their new juicer, so we consider every sale a great success.
That said, we've had a number of prestigious cafes and restaurants put an Angel Juicer in, which have been feathers in our cap.
What does the future hold for Angel Juicers?
As a very niche product, we hope to see the Angel Juicer become more widely known and available to a greater audience.
